Last Tango in Compton - The Making of VW Polo Advert (UK)

The company is going to launch a massive social media activity, which includes making of and behind the scenes footage, to support the launch of the expressive advert, in which Argentinean Tango world champion Gasper Godoy and his partner Manuella Rossi, the world number two, are performing a hot dance to Roc C’s “Don’t Stop.” The spot dubbed “Last Tango in Compton” was directed by Jonathan Glazer, whose credits include the Guinness Surfer, Sony Paint and Levi’s Odyssey campaigns.

Surprising results show the fluidity of the "body schema"

The relationship between a person’s notion of self-hood and the openness of their body schema to another human being hints that perhaps it’s no coincidence that tango, which takes entanglement to sublime heights, originated in a culture that orients toward interdependence.
