Relax, my friend. There is nothing wrong with "quirky". As long as you are both happy :-)
Hey, I'm man enough to fly my freak flag. All who know me know that I am all about being different and outside the norm. I don't try, I just am. Odd, quirky, weird, even eccentric. I'm okay with any of those descriptors.
I'd be bored shitless if I were "normal".
Mutually happy is the important thing. Next time you're practising have her take the leaders role and get her to go through the various hand positions. So long as none of them cause tension in your dainty little wrists you're good to go ;-)
