The first time ever I saw your face :: Roberta Flack
This song makes me cry every time I listen to it...one helluva voice...one helluva song...and the woman it makes me think of when I hear it...well, I wonder how she is doing now...I still love her...
This version is better...

I LOVE this song-- it is the first song I ever sang in public, at 7 years old, in my music class. (With all the passion- or lack thereof- of a 7-yr old. I didn't fully understand it of course, it just sounded pretty to me. It must have sounded pretty funny to my teacher. It gets worse: I sane Hlene Reddy's "I Am Woman (hear me roar)" in third grade.)
