Eh...the only fishnets I like are woven stockings that don't look fishnet-ty. I've seen some beautiful ones with exquisite patterns that are a thousand fold more tasteful than plain ole fishnets.
those are fabulous ones .... and hard to find. i've been looking for capri style fishnets ever since i started dancing tango. perhaps i should leave the country for my search to be successful? but i like wearing any good quality fishnets ~ tiny weave in a tone to match my skin, wide weave in chocolate brown, a funky weave in lavender. and especially if they have a seam!
Those are awesome, but I despise the pants. I'm really confused by the pants I see on lots of tango women...
I wear fishnets for rock & roll...usually slightly shredded ones, held up with garters, with my knee-high Doc Martens and a miniskirt...but for tango? Not muchly. Dancing on them hurts my feet.
Ugh, I'm not a fan of fishnets (wearing them, at least). They're super uncomfortable. Although I'd happily wear other stockings if they were more in fashion here and didn't make my feet slip in my shoes. The footless tights seem to be the only thing people ever wear, and I don't really care for them.
I love fishnets! Great for when I am too lazy or do not have time to remove the "fuzzies" from my legs. And I find they are more economical than pantyhose. I tend to wear fishnets more with jeans and ballet slippers though.
All footless tights, including these, are Not My Style. These ones I think are exceptionally ugly, so I'm glad someone likes them. I like the flesh-toned fine fishnets because they're tough, visually pleasing, are very comfortable, and give a smooth appearance.

I like these capri-style fishnets. They're way groovy!
Ewww, Fashion-faux-pas-o-rama. Sorry :-(
Not flattering!
But I also hate when women wear regular fishnets with open toed shoes. That's even worse.
I DO like regular fishnets with closed-toed shoes.
I just don't like the ones in this picture. :-(
